В настоящей статье рассматриваются три основных аспекта мировой экологической историографии. В первую очередь, проведена деконструкция существующих стереотипов и заблуждений, касающихся экологической истории. Во-вторых, в результате обзора трех школ мировой истории в области экологической истории были выявлены четыре основных вклада экологической истории в мировую историографию. В-третьих, в данной статье приводится прогноз, что будущее экологической истории зависит от баланса пяти пар связей, регулирующих характер и направление дальнейшего развития экологической истории.
